A Mental Health practitioner specialised as a Counselling Psychologist, Mindfulness Practitioner and Life coach. She is comfortable using her expertise to maximize family and workplace mental health in stressful conditions by offering individual, couple, family, and group counselling, training & development, psychoeducation and workshops.
She holds a Master's Degree in Psychology from Madras University and Labour Management from Madurai Kamaraj University. Having started her career in the field of psychology, she is in association with M/S Santulan – an EAP Service Provider based in Delhi. She had been a consultant at M/S Sugam Counselling Centre and M/S Tata Consultancy Services, Chennai. She is also associated with a few leading Corporates in Chennai for employee counselling, training and development as a visiting Consultant and also an external member of the POSH ICC committee.
She had also been a Guest Lecturer for BLM and MLM Students at Tamilnadu Institute of Labour Studies on Industrial Psychology and Soft skills papers.
Apart from regular counselling practices, she had also done online counselling with senior citizens for Covid-19 related stress and Grief Therapy for the public and Covid-19 patients during the Pandemic.
She nurtures a passion for learning. She did her intensive counselling training by the Late Dr Emma Gonsalvez, a renowned psychotherapist. She has done TA-101 - a Foundation Course in Transactional Analysis by SAATA under the guidance of Dr Susan George. Advanced Skills & Techniques in counselling, Coached in NLP and Affirmation Therapy by Prof. Veerapandian. Trained in Adlerian Principles by Dr Wes Wingett – North American Society of Adlerian Psychology. Trained in Stress counselling and Guidance by Dr B. Udayakumar Reddy, the Director of Stress Management Lab Pvt. Ltd. Trained in Remedial Teaching for Learning Disabilities at Madras Dyslexia Association. She is also done training for ICC members for Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace (POSH) from Dr Ashwani Kumar – Psychiatrist, Head – Santulan Group. She has advanced training in Mindfulness, life coaching, CBT, Skilled helper, Mental health and wellness from Kain Ramsay, Achologist and Grief Therapy training from Keerthi Pai, Clinical Psychologist.
Her areas of focus are psychological, psychosocial issues, interpersonal, work-life balance and managerial problems. She believes in an ethical and systematic approach to counselling, therapy and training that brings a positive change in people's lives. She applies the Skilled Helper Model - The Person-centred model, CBT, NLP, Life Coaching and Mindfulness.
She is a certified Professional Supervisor in Counselling by Indian Academy for Professional Supervisors Chennai, in collaboration with “The Australian Counselling Association"

Mental Health Practitioner specialised in life Skill Development, does Therapeutic Art Life Coach & Counselling Practitioner in and around Chennai city. She has completed her graduation in Social work from Stella Maris College and Post-graduation in Applied Psychology from Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women, Chennai. She was awarded Best Field Worker by Stella Maris College.
She is a Skill Trainer for the Life Skill and Soft Skill Development Programs at Ennrich. She does Guest lecturing for social work students for lab sessions and Soft Skill Trainer for SMCDRIVE at Stella Maris College. She is also involved in Employee Engagement & Wellbeing Services in and around Chennai city for MNCs. She has given life skill training for juveniles. She has worked as Child Development Trainer focusing on life skills during the pandemic. She also worked as Behaviour Therapist for children with Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability Learning Difficulty. She has presented research papers and published journals under the Title “Investigation of Premenstrual Symptoms, Attitude towards Menstruation and Health Promotion in Adolescent Girls” at the International Conference on School Mental health organised by the Department of Social Work, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli and Title “Association between Premenstrual Symptoms, Attitude towards Menstruation and Mindfulness in Female Students” at the 4th International and 6th Indian Psychological Science Congress Organised Department of Psychology of Panjab University, Chandigarh and National Association of Psychological Science India. She has Conducted Research on the Title “Premenstrual Symptoms, Personality Types and Emotional Intelligence among Female College Students” at Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women.
Her early Internships were at Y.R. Gaitonde Centre for AIDS Research and Education-(YRG CARE), Department of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology of Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Porur, Chennai.
